CSPDCL DEO Syllabus 2024
The Computer Based Test (CBT) for the Data Entry Operator position will include:
- Languages: Questions will be in both Hindi and English. In case of discrepancies, the English version will be considered valid.
- Duration: The exam will last 2 hours.
- Number of Questions: There will be a total of 100 multiple-choice questions.
- Scoring: 1 mark for each correct answer, 0.25 mark deduction for incorrect answers, and 0 marks for unanswered questions.

- General Knowledge (25 marks)
- General Computer Knowledge (15 marks)
- General Mental Ability (20 marks)
- General Mathematics (15 marks)
- General Hindi (Grammar) (15 marks)
- General English (Grammar) (10 marks)
Minimum Qualifying Marks
- For General and OBC candidates: Minimum 40% marks.
- For SC and ST candidates: Minimum 30% marks.
Skill Test
Successful candidates from the CBT will be shortlisted for the skill test. The skill test will include:
- Typing Speed Test in English: 5000 key depressions per hour (50 marks)
- Typing Speed Test in Hindi: 5000 key depressions per hour (50 marks)
Minimum Qualifying Marks: Candidates must obtain at least 30 marks in each language test.
Final Selection
Based on the combined scores of the CBT and skill tests, separate merit lists will be prepared for the advertised positions.
